The financial crisis entered a potentially* dangerous new phase on Wednesday when many credit markets stopped working normally* as investors around the world frantically* moved their money into the safest investments, like Treasury bills.

La crisis financiera entró en una nueva fase potencialmente* peligrosa el miércoles cuando varios mercados de créditos dejaron de trabajar normalmente* como inversores alrededor del mundo y frenéticamente* movieron su dinero en inversiones más seguras, como  letras del Tesoro.

 *Adverbs ending in “-LY” can be translated like “-MENTE”  in Spanish language.

The total amount for the bail-out for Wall Street failures is almost exactly the same amount as we’ve
spent so far for the war in Iraq. That is, just under one TRILLION dollars.

Maybe we should be asking:
“What would you rather have – a war half-way across the world, or
a sound economy at home?”

Do we want to continue spending for war, or perhaps bring it home for our own
economy?
Which of the presidential candidates will make better choices with our money?
